Aida Sadeghi, MS, CNS
Certified Nutrition Specialist
Aida Sadeghi, MS, CNS, is a Certified Nutrition Specialist who is dedicated to good nutrition and health. During her past experience working as a medical assistant, she witnessed firsthand the toll poor nutrition can take on a person’s health. With a family history of high cholesterol, she experienced that at a young age her genetics and poor food habits were already taking its toll on her own health.
This motivated her to continue to higher education and pursue a master’s degree in Nutrition Education from American University. Upon completion of her graduate degree, Aida continued to pursue her CNS credential, which is a nationally recognized and regarded credential in the field of Nutrition. With this credential, Aida aims to maintain a high standard of care with an evidence-based approach to nutrition therapy.
With her knowledge, Aida hopes to educate and support clients on a journey to better health through good nutrition that is balanced and sustainable as part of an improved lifestyle. Aida’s driving philosophy is to help individuals achieve their long-term diet and nutrition goals without having to navigate complicated dietary restrictions. She truly believes that food is meant to be enjoyable and nourishing. Aida is passionate about food and fitness. Some of her interests include baking, cooking, running races from 5 K’s to half marathons, yoga, taking in the sun at the beach and travelling.
To achieve a balanced relationship with food, you eat what’s mostly good for you and also what makes you feel good. When you can achieve this balance, not only will you feel less guilt about what you eat, but you will feel more energized and satisfied. Finding that path to a perfect balance of food as fuel and feeling good about what you eat will be unique to each individual. Every person’s journey and balance will be unique to them. It’s a journey that takes time, patience, experimenting and learning. Aida’s role is to support you and guide you with her knowledge and experience in navigating this complicated journey, so that you can eat well and feel good.
